I always recycle, turn off the lights when I’m not in the room, and do what I can to conserve water and energy. This Earth Day, I will be planting a tree and cleaning up litter in New York City.

As a student, I’ve always been active in volunteering events that will help people and the environment. I’ve planted trees and flowers to expand forests, cleaned the beaches all along the coastline of California, the rivers and banks that occupied mounds and mounds of unattended trash. Whenever I walk around and see trash I pick it up and properly dispose it. I’m an avid recycler. I sort everything out and tell my friends to do the same. I also conserve our water supply using only what I need. It’s a dirty job sometimes but someone has to do it today.

Hi! Honestly, I do not do anything special activities to “save” the planet. Just like everyone, I have done simple things and do as much as I can to keep the environment clean. I cannot stop all factories and cars to pollute the air. However, I join the volunteer program to pick up trash around San Diego beaches and plant trees at certain areas. I do not print much. I save cans and bottles that I used and return them to the stores. I separate recycle and non-recycle trashes. If everyone can do simple things like that, it would help our planet clean.
